Hi,
My Macbook Air with Mavericks will not show a USB connection to Uno Rev 3. I have tried installing the drivers from: VCP Drivers - FTDI but still no luck. Any suggestions appreciated.

a few posts below is my description (with photos), you probably have a fake disc arduido. The manufacturer wrote me that works without a problem. I fight since yesterday and did not see her, I changed the cables, I installed the drivers and nothing. Friend on Windows or not able to run. Show a picture of your motherboard

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean a fake disc arduino? I'm going to get another cable today and if that doesn't do it I'm not sure what will.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this? Ive spent hours on it over the last 2 day. I have now tried it on three operating systems (mac mavericks, ubuntu and windows 8 ) with no success. On windows and ubuntu serial ports is greyed out whereas on mac there are no usb options. Is it possible I have a faulty board? It was brand new out the box. I'm out of ideas. Think Ill give up on it, deem arduino UNO and Mac to be totally incompatible and go back to my Raspberry pi!
