I know this has been discussed at length, but I have searched this forum and can not find a solution. I am using a Pro Mini with a CP2102 on a Mac. In the Tools->Port, Serial Port is greyed out and there are only Bluetooth options. I have downloaded all the recent drivers for FTDI. When I attempt to upload I get the stk500 error message. Any other suggestions?
The CP2102 is NOT made by FTDI so the FTDI drivers won't help at all. You need the CP2102 drivers.
Thanks for the tip, I thought the drivers were for the Arduino. I installed the CP2102 drivers and serial ports is greyed out and only Bluetooth options were available. I shutdown arduino, switched to my other USB port and there was a new port. It seem like this worked, thanks.
