Mac, usb serial port troubles

Hi,

I have just downloaded Arduino from the net but I can't find the usb serial port to connect my UNO board. I can't find these items in my Arduino folder:

My folder shows only

_CodeSignature
Info.plist
Java
MacOS
PkgInfo
Plugins
Resources

Nowhere can I find the macosx_setup.command file.

However when I plug in an Arduino Leonardo, it shows!

I would appreciate some wise advice.

There are no drivers included with the Mac Arduino download, because none are needed.

Where did you buy the Uno from?

That image shows Arduino IDE version 0005. Ancient history, not relevant to current boards.
