Macbook pro OSX 10.7.2 USB problems

Sup,

Im working on a MIDI device for a school project using a arduino Duelmilanove Atmega328. The Arduino obviously connects to my schools windows computers fine but for my own personal MacBook Pro it is being troublesome. My MacBook Pro is a Late 2011 2.8 Ghz i7 intel core duo w/ 8 gigs Ram. The MacBook Pro just will not pick up that the arduino is plugged in no matter what driver I install or USB drivers I keep updating.

Anything will help, Thank you

After the upgrade to Lion (10.7) I had to re-install the FTDI drivers. Even though version 2.2.16 only has:

FTDIUSBSerialDriver_10_3.mpkg
FTDIUSBSerialDriver_10_4_10_5_10_6.mpkg

The second one installed on 10.7 and allowed my Diecimila to work again.
