Hi,

My almost 2yr old 15" MacBook Pro died a while a go. To repair it was almost as much as getting a new one. It's the integrated graphic card that is broken, the rest seems to be absolutely fine. Rather than just chucking it out or selling it on e-bay for parts, I was thinking of doing something creative with it instead. Like reusing the screen. I was googling just that but didn't realy find anything useful. Any ideas?

Spam or just a not very arduino related question?

LCD screens are known for being extremely hard to interface with. By passing a voltage through different pins of the LCD you can darken the whole thing or create vertical bars/colours etc but it is not easy to use it as a 'screen'
