A magnetometer, or compass chip can detect automobiles several meters away.

I'm looking for a sensor that counts up to 5 cm

    You really don't need to know which is the largest range because it's probably something used by NASA.

    3.the dimensions are up to 95 x 18 mm.
  3. my project is very specific and require magnetic sensors to take into account every passing of them.
