The 32 buttons i have from sparkfun are mostly ruined because i forced them into a breadboard. They don't fit. 
Does anyone know how to make lots of buttons that look and stay decent?
Not the childish aluminum foil contact....
If possible, take use of buttons from calculators or remotes.
any input device that would function as multiple buttons would be decent.

What type of buttons?
If you're referring to your basic pushbutton, Digikey has them for VERY cheap:

In which case don't use childish solder-less breadboard.
For just a few buttons, get the buttons, solder them on a small piece of perfboard. Add a male and/or female header strip. Use jumper wires to add buttons to breadboard. viola.
