Maker plan subscription processed through incorrect payment method

I upgraded my Maker monthly plan to yearly and wanted to switch to a different payment method. The website gave me the option to "update payment method" before placing the order. When I did, I saw radio buttons against each payment method and selected the new one before clicking upgrade. It said that the order was processed. Then I find out that it pulled money from the old card anyway. So what was the point of offering those radio buttons?

In the contact us web form, it says that for refunds, it needs the order number which can be found through order history. I click that link only to find that I have "no orders". I have been on Maker monthly for well over a year. It should have at least shown my previous payments. Half of the times, the "billing and subscriptions" and "my plans" pages don't open.

What is going on? This whole thing looks extremely glitchy. Starting to feel scammed. Arduino folks, any ideas?

It's not clear from your description if you raised the issue using the contact us form or that you stopped when you could not raise the issue.

I suggest that you use the contact us form to raise an issue. Do not immediately ask for a refund, that can be done at a later stage; first describe the problem and see what Arduino has to say.

Do not give up easily, the user in Orders nolonger tracked after email change eventually got it right; it took two months :open_mouth:
