I want to make an rc hovercraft for carrying an camera and act like an moveble tripod.
It has be able to do:
move in al directions (not backwards),tilt the camera, and if possible send the camera signal back to an station.
My questions. Is the camera signal sender possible to build with 2 arduino's. And can i use computer fans to get it airborne and an old rc remote from an toy to control it, then i only have to use 1 arduino.
Thanks for your help.
Fabian
Ps. I want it to make use of it in my final movie for the high school.
But why? The camera sender is just optionnal but i do not understand why i should not use arduino? And what does the rc model hovercrafts use like a motor. I think if i make it light weight and and enough fans it would sertainly hover, it would never fly like a plane if you thought that but if will fly like a hovercraft, where i want to make it for.
What purpose does the Arduino serve?
An R/C rig will be cheaper and you don't need to program it.
The video won't go anywhere near the Arduino, because it can't handle video,so if all the Arduino is doing is providing R/C control signals, why not just use gear designed for that job?
The fans?
Maybe they will, but I'm guessing that they won't,particularly by the time you've added batteries to power them and all the camera gear.
Yes, I do know how a hovercraft works.
What do you mean with an rc rig? Just something like waht is in an rc toy and receives the signal an contols the motor's? But the problem is, if have old rc toys which i can use, but they have 4 functions, i want 5 (move forwards, left, right, camera up/down). And where can i buy it, online?
