Making a speedometer wristband with vibration mini motor

I'm working on a product for skiers ( downhill skiing ) using Arduino. My product will be a speedometer wristband that beginner skiers can wear on their wrists. When these skiers exceed their speed limits (30mph), the wristband will start vibrating to provide a warning. My question is, I've purchased a few materials (GPS module, vibration mini motor, nano board, Accelerometer, etc.), but I'm unsure which ones are necessary or unnecessary. Can you help me with this?

- Which models do I need to use for my project ?
- What should I use for a speedometer for downhill skiers ?
- How should I create or write a system for the vibration motors to shake when the speed limit is exceeded ?

I would start by determining what you need by doing some research. Determine what sensors, annunciators etc you will need. When you have it them do an annotated drawing showing exactly how it will be wired including all parts. Show us progress and we will be happy to help. The next purchase you should make is the Arduino Cookbook, it will give you most of the information you desire.
