Making a wireless connection between DHT22 and Arduino Uno

I want to know if there is any way to connect the Arduino Uno with a DHT22 Temperature sensor but using a device to send and power up the DHT22.

It would be a good idea to use a battery to power up the DHT22? Should I use a Bluetooth connection?

Thanks.

You can use a RFM12B / RFM69 module or XBee, nRF24L01+ could be also an option.

In case you do not relay on the DHTxx and you searching for a more "finished" solution have a look at the Moteino http://lowpowerlab.com/moteino/ and the fitting weather shield http://lowpowerlab.com/blog/2015/01/30/weathershield-is-here/
