What would be good solution in making arduino speak? I am thinking something like the talkingtimer.com - how to create similar prototype. I found the website on Arduino speech synthesis already, but I don't think that is the way to go for me. Rather, I have some quotes recorded by a woman and I would like to be able programmatically decided which of those samples will be played? I don't know how to use a flash memory from Arduino.
I need some parts to do this, but I have no idea what to order.
mem, I think I might have looked that before. I think my concern is not to make synthezizer - rather I would like to be able to play selected samples from a given flash memory (which can be soldered to arduino).
You might want to look at the Magnevation SpeakJet Voice and Sound Synthesizer ( RB-Mag-02 ) for $26.24 at Robotshop.com. I’m planning to buy one soon. It’s pretty sophisticated for the price.
