Making NOVA Dreamer and AXBP Clock in one

I am one of those who have trouble getting up in the morning and sleep until I am too tired to sleep any more, and wake up more tired than before going to sleep.
I have read about axbp clock which monitors body movement via some bracelet and according to it determines withing 1/2 hours of setted alarm time when is the best moment go sound the alarm - www.axbo.com
It is about 200 euros but I think we can pull it off with just with arduino we already have and some tilt sensor and not bother with radio waves.
I have read several-day testing results but the people were not too much satisfied so I thought of expanding it with maybe pulse monitor?

Another interesting project to integrate in would be
Lucid Dream Induction Device "NovaDreamer" which is a sleeping mask that have some infrared sensors to detect eye movements ::slight_smile: to recognize REM sleep phase. Since REM phase is the most similar brain frequency to awake state, the waking up in this moment would be most easy (beside the fact that you will remember your dream only if you are waken up from it - it gets forget on phases change )
The graph to illustrate it

Any ideas how this IR eye movement detection works and how is it possible to make it with arduino?

So, anyone interested into subject and easy_wake_up_device with capabilities of lucid_dream_induction_machine project to start discussion?

We also save $300 for Clock+$700 for NOVA dreamer
