Kewl! As for the heat problem, I plan on taking the 12V out of the DC adapter and splitting it to run to the blowers and to the Arduino.
The idea here is that I need the Arduino ground to be the 12V ground but I certainly don't want the Arduino to power the blowers.
Then I'll use the PWM pins to switch the blowers and I should be golden (famous last words).
I didn't think amperage would be a problem but I felt it best to check... thanks a bunch.
