making thermostat with.... attiny85 , thermistor, 74hc595 and LCD

does anyone know where i can get the info to build a standalone thermostat with this stuff ?

I have a tiny85 RGB temperature LED that does Morse Code for temp.... probably could drive a Nokia 5110 but I have never tried... only with a t84 with additional pins.

IM using an HD44780 LCD looked everywhere for the information for this so far
