Okay, so I recently began taking apart an old laptop, and harvesting its "organs" if you may. I came across some rather fun little pieces, such as fans and touchpads, but what I really wanted was the display. I have been workig on getting it to display something, Anything, but it won't do anything at all. The question I have is about the pin configurations. There are two wires that lead to the sides of the display-Pink and white. I guessed that the pink pin was posative and the white was ground, but that's about as far as I got. There are loads of more pins, and I have been plugging the wires in to various locations. The computer was a 2003 model COMPAQ 2596US, and I have confirmed that I get the correct laptop in a google search. I would like to know if anyone has any knowledge of which pins might do what.
-Thanks!
