Is there a man pages for LoRa Programming? I’m having difficulty interpreting syntax, arguments, formatting in various examples.

The LoRa device data sheets are also a definitive source of information.

are you looking at Lora point-to-point or connecting using LoraWAN to the lora servers

I am looking at point to point comm to eventually control a robot.

which Lora module have you got?
e.g. one of my Lora modules is the adafruit-feather-32u4-radio-with-lora - the link gives instructions on use, downloading libraries, etc. The download includes example code for raw, OTAA, APB Lora communications.
