Hi

I don't understand the map function.

map(OriNr, 0-1022 , 0-X)

I could understand the function if I had a minimun and a maximum number for the original value Said OrigNr(Min) and OrigNr (max).

But with only the mesure of on one position in the scale (like with project 05 potentiometer) how will the scale be calculate?

With 2 number ok! (Origin number high - OrigNr Low) /1022 you would get a value for one einheit but with only one number is what I don't understand.

What do I missed? Can someone explaim me?

Thank you

Claude

map(OriNr, 0-1022 , 0-X)

That line makes no sense, so there is no point in trying to understand it.

Read about the **Arduino map function** and its proper usage here: map() - Arduino Reference

That isn't how you write a map() function. I couldn't understand that but the real one is easy enough to understand. It does have from and to values for both input and output.
