I was wondering whether formatting of LaTeX style formulae is supported on this forum. Apparently there is a plugin for this, but it does not seem to work, at least not for me. E.g, the following equations do not render as advertised in the documentation:
$a=10$
$$
a = 10
$$
%a = 10%
I suspect that this plugin is not installed or disabled.
Is there any other way to accomplish this and if not, would you consider enabling this plugin?

resurrecting that question as I want to cast my vote for this to be supported.
it's unfortunately not. I think these features work if the Markdown renderer supports MathJax or KaTeX. Probably not the case here.
