How many sensors can I have on a Arduino board at anyone time? Not fussed about coding. Just looking for max sensor feasibility.
I2C? SPI? Analog outputs? Digital? Answer will vary depending on the sensor and if you're willing to add some extra hardware for controlling device selection.
Almost an infinite number of sensors if you play it right.

I may as well mention I am the lazy Lazy type of Web Developer. You know the type. Copy and pastes. Never really learns anything new just reads a new how to book.
Anyway
I'm new to arduino electronics but am a seasoned coder.
I basically want to create opensource aquaponic solutions and share my findings.
Trouble is the amount of sensors, motors, switches and data routers is going to be insane so I need someone who is good with the hardware side to assist me.
Could do with some homework though. What is the difference between SPI and I2C? All I know about Serial Ports is they are the dated port for some Peripherals which no one ever uses on their desktop any more.
Also worth mentioning I've gone back to Uni because my knowledge is so weak.
