Okay, call me crazy, but by mistake I ordered the SOIC version (MAX7221CWG+) it just came in today (which is when I realized what I did). Does anyone know of an easy way (besides SOIC to DIP converter, which I will get if nothing else) to use them with a breadboard?

Something like this perhaps: DIY SOIC to DIP protoboard soldered adaptor
I believe "enamel" or "magnet" wire is supposed to be particularly suitable.
