I love chip labels when breadboarding! It minimizes the chance of making errors.

Atmega328 labels are already available but I needed labels for the Maxim 7219 / 7221 chip so I made them using Photoshop Elements.

For others needing these, see the attachments.

The labels will fit the shorter 'fake' and original Maxim chips.
I personally prefer the original...! In a German webshop, I bought the original Maxim 7219's for Euro 4,75.

It's a bit tight, but arguably should have the chip number running down teh middle.

I thought of that later and will add the chip label, making the label a bit wider.
