Morning all!
There quick question - how much current can be drawn from 5V pin? Datasheet for LM2734 stepdown converter states that it can drive up to 1 amp and SRR0604-100ML inductor can handle up to 1.3 amp...
On 3.3V side it gets simpler - http://arduino.cc/en/Main/arduinoBoardDue states LM1117 regulator can deliver 0.8A. So would you recon a 0.5A draw will be a reasonably safe assumption?
Thanks!
A lot depends on the input voltage where the real limitation is on the power dissipation of the regulator chip. You will not get anything like the rated value.
