Maximum number of LEDs controlled by Lilypad

Hi.
I want to sew an LED matrix to a t-shirt an control it with the Lilypad Arduino. I plan on using LilyPad Bright White LEDs for it. What is the maximum number of LEDs i can control with the Lilypad?

I just read this article about Charlieplexing but since on the resistor is attached to the LED already, Charlieplexing won't work for me right?

Lilypad have 20 output pins include 6 analog pins, 2 serial ports pin and 12 other digital pins.

If used to control LEDs one-to-one connection, you can control 20 LEDs.

If you use Charlieplexing you can control up to 380 LEDs but the current will be up to 7.6A if each LED need 20mA. :o

It should not have any problem using Charlieplexing on this LilyPad Bright White LEDs.
