MaxMatrix MAX7219 code issues

Hey all,

I have been trying to get this code working for a couple of days now and it still doesn’t work. I have tried to change the code in every way possible so it would work but to no avail. So what I want to accomplish is the following: 4 max7219’s combined and let them light up with all the 64 led’s (8*8) and toggle them with a lever. so far I keep getting an error while trying to upload the sketch. If anyone could let me know why the code isn’t working, please tell me.

This isn’t a bootloader issue, but where did you define/declare CH ?
