the problem is, when I use MB102 breadboard power supply for these components, it won’t respond any signal from arduino. just turned on and nothing they will do. but it all works when I power from arduino. what ive been skipped?
-no problem with the cable
-no problem with the code
I want to connect the component power separately from arduino. so I need mb102 to supply 3.3v and 5v component. but i don’t know why rfid reader, lcd, and relay won’t respond when I power it with mb102. but its respon well if I power it with arduino 3.3v and 5v pin.
OK, so a complete description would necessarily include:
What is your actual power supply? How were you connecting to to the "breadboard power supply".
How are you connecting everything? Show us the schematic. (I might even accept a Fritzing! )
What RFID reader is this? Web link to the module? Probably a MFRC522, and I gather you are saying the module does not include a 3.3 V regulator? (Some do, the more common ones do not.)
What Arduino?
Which relay module? Web link to the module?
No code posted? Precisely how is this door lock system supposed to interact with a PC, if at all?
An Arduino is not a power supply so what does "it all works when I power from arduino" mean? How are you "powering" the unspecified Arduino?
What does "I want to connect the component power separately from arduino" mean?
As you have a 12 V solenoid, I will guess for a start that you have a 12 V power supply. I wonder what else you have or propose to use?
