Sharing my contribution to the community, an MD_Parola font editor.
Its browser based and allows to edit or design 'single' and 'double' height fonts.

Features:

  • Visual editor and ascii char list
  • Font import/export
  • html localstorage to prevent data loss

Just made it compatible with double height fonts. Performance isn't great but on faster machines lag is minimal.

FYI double height fonts are usually also wider. is there a way to make the display wider than 8 LEDs?

Yes @marco_c, the width can be set from 1 to 20 columns.

Also, last update fixed performance issues editing larger pixel count fonts :slight_smile:
