i've got a question regarding connecting up a meanwell Nes-350 power supply. I want get feedback or comments before i go ahead connecting up my powersupply to motor drivers and motors.
For the motor driver i'm using the Pololu Dual VNH2SP30 Motor Driver Carrier MD03A. My motors are 7.5v 12amp.
On my power supply, i have
+V (1-3), -V (1-3), Gnd, N and L
i would connect up GND and L to a wall plug. +V and -V to the Pololu GND and VIN (+). OUT 1A and 1B to motor, the same for OUT 2A and 2B.
Pololu board +5 V(IN) and GND to arudino +5 V and GND.
1PWM will be connected to Digital pin 3, 1INa and 1INb to Digital pin 7 and 8.
I'm following this diagram.

1st most important question, this is the right way to connect up?
2nd why do i need 1INa and 1INb? I would like to only control start, stop and speed of the dc motors. I don't need to direction. Do i need to connect up both 1INa and 1INb?
please advice me on the connection, as i won't want to hook up anything yet before i get some form of confirmation that it's right.
i would connect up GND and L to a wall plug. +V and -V to the Pololu GND and VIN (+). OUT 1A and 1B to motor, the same for OUT 2A and 2B.
Not quite. An AC power cord has either 3 wires or 2 wires that will wire to the power supply. N and L are the two wires you wire to if you have a two wire power cord. If you have a 3 wire cord then the third wire is a safety ground and would wire to the GND terminal. You should be very careful in your identification of the AC wires, neutral, line, and ground as mis-wiring could cause a short circuit of AC power and blow a panel fuse or circuit breaker or sever shock hazard.
The V+ and V- connections of the power supply are the outputs. So you are plan for hooking them up sounds right.
The IN1a and IN1b connections set the direction of the motor. If IN1a=1 and IN1b=0 the motor turns one way, if IN1a=0 and IN1B=1, the motor turns the other way. Other combinations of IN1a and IN1b determine braking mode (see Table 11 of the VNH3SP30 datasheet).
