Measure power corrent frequency Hz with sct-013-000 sensor - anyone knows how?

Hi,

I am working on my first arduino project and I would like to know how to measure the power corrent frequency (Hz) with the ct-013-000 sensor.

I can't find anywhere how to do it. I have tried google and youtube but without success.

If it's possible... can anyone help me with the code or guide me please.

You can't measure the power line frequency very accurately with an Arduino, because the CPU clock is not accurate.

For accurate frequency measurements you need an accurate measurement of time as the basis. A GPS module can provide that with a 1 pulse per second output, or for a much less accurate approach, you could replace the Arduino resonator with a good quality crystal.

You will need to measure it accurately to do better than the Power Utilities do. In most places people use the power frequency as a time reference.
