It could be said that the enclosed version has the disadvantage of being difficult to switch to a 3.3v target voltage.

As a side note, I would be VERY careful with that anyway. I have a device that only switches VCC to 3.3V and seems to keep the signal at 5V. The ATMEGA seems to survive that only for a very limited time.
One or two slightly different programmer arrived this week, i will test them on the weekend.
In my case, it was necessary, though, since I had a custom board with a 3.3V radio (which also apparently did not survive it).
