Measuring Current over Time

Hi,

So I need a way to measure current over time. I need a current measurement every second for a 10 minute period. I am doing an electroplating lab (not entirely relevant) and I need to be able to use an average current to calculate a literature value in my lab. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Would a current measurement IC such as ACS711 work?

That is an interesting looking part (filed away for future reference  ) Looks like Digikey carries them for about $3 each and they provide 100V isolation.

Buy those ACS71* current sensors on properly designed breakout boards here.

If(15kW welder > your current < AAA battery)
and
(30kV Tesla coil > your voltage < AAA battery)
we can prob'ly help

Can you narrow things down a tad?

This may help.

You don't make it clear what you have a problem with - measuring current or doing regular measurements in
general, or averaging...
