Measuring distance between 2 points with accuracy of 1mm level inside room in 3D

I have following

  1. input : I know the two points
  2. output : I want the distance between two points in X,Y,Z coordinate system.

Does anyone know if any hardware or sensor are available or not ?

The measurement should be in real time with dynamically changing of the positions.

I have sequence of the panel which I have to install for example train compartment with nearly 30 panel continuously at mention X,Y and Z distance wrt to each other panel .

Hmmmm. If you are installing the panels, how can you see the values returned by the proposed sensors?

How big is your budget? I know of nothing remotely affordable to the hobbyist that is accurate enough.

I will have my mobile on my hand like watch which give me readings. If you have another ideas then please tell me or it will vibrate if I increase or decrease the distance between two Panel like collision avoidance system.

The technology is there but it is not used the manner which I want to use it with mention accuracy of less then 1 Millimeter.

I assumed you already knew such things are used in the construction industry. So, are you asking a hobby forum for ways to duplicate and improve a commercial product? What is your budget and time frame?

Yes, I have to apply in industry so Labor efficiency is increases and money is saved.

Time frame - As soon as possible please help me to improve such technology at mm level of accuracy.

Such systems are used by Boeing in aircraft assembly. Have you discussed this with them?

You seem to misunderstand what the volunteer helpers do here. We look at your wiring diagram and code and you tell us what you expected to happen and what actually happened. Then we make suggestions for things to try. What we do NOT do is design and build an invention for you to capitalize on.
When you can show us the wiring diagram and code let us know.

Its my project and working on it but the my project doesnot meet the accuracy we need. I have already something but failed to achieve the accuracy. Here it more professional people so better to get real guidance.

I got finance for hardware only nothing else. Other things I have to do it myself.
