is it possible to measure both voltage and current with an arduino, not at the same time that is...i want to measure from 1.5 to 24 volts DC and 0 to 1000 ma...would i need an external adc or voltage divider to do it
Yes it is possible.
To measure currentnyou measure the voltage across a current sensing resistor in line with what younwantnto measure. Or if it is a big current you can use a current sensing transducer, like a hall effect one.
