Mega 2560 Digital Pins Usage

I am using the Mega 2560 in a project need to control pins 2 thru 53. . Looking at the Mega pin outs the ports are not in order , so what is need to enable me to be able to control the pins correctly?

Put them in an array, access them that way.

byte pinsArray[] = {2,3,4,5,6,7,8 .... etc up to 53,};

digitalWrite (pinsArray[0], LOW); // etc/

Thank You for that Idea,but I need to control them individually and assign name to them like Relay1, Relay2, Track1 , Etc. Turn the pin High or LOW I need to keep this simple.

There is something different on the Mega 2560 for pins 14 thur 53 it is not working like what you are showing here. I think you need to set up those pins differently. check this link out

This is the code I am using. Pin 2 thru pin 21 toggle. When I try pin 22 is High.

Then I only can say I thing, array's.

I did what you suggested and pin 22 is HIGH.

Below is the code I am using to test pin 22. When running pin 22 is High and pin 24 is toggling. I do not understand what is going on. I need help.

I am sorry I don't understand all the forum rules. To answer how it hooked up. I am using a Logic Probe to see the state of pin and it works.

Just move your connection down one, those top 2 terminals are 5V

Thank you for that oops I was off by one pin. It is working. Went back to one of my earlier programs and stared over and slowly I got it to work. I think I went off on the wrong track. Thank you everyone for all your help.
