Hello, If my question has been asked before please point me in that direction.
I have a Mega 2560 that I am trying to use to make a TDA7498 play the James Brown "OW, I feel good" mp3 via the integrated TF Card on the TDA7498.
The purpose of this project is to serve as a cat vs countertop deterrent. Abrupt high volume is required because, apparently my cats are immune to anything other than the most jarring of sounds.
Here is what I have successfully accomplished. I have used the PIR sensor to signal the Mega to play a 3k frequency on the small speaker that is in most kits. The cats were amused at this attempt. I got the TDA to power up and connected my phone to it via bluetooth and confirmed that it works, well. What I can not work out is the important part. How do I get the Mega to tell the TDA to play the MP3 that is on the card?
Am I trying to over complicate a simple project? Am I trying to do something that is not reasonable with the hardware I have? I am open to all advice and suggestions? If more information is required please tell me what you need to know. Also, I'm very new to this so please don't be a weenie.
Thank you!
