Mega 2640 - sparkfun i2c differential extenders not working

Okay I am fairly new to extending the i2c cable length

So here is a quick break down

Items I have
Elegoo mega 2560 R3
2 X sparkfun pca9615 modules
10m utp cat6 ethernet (I have several others at various lengths )
2004a LCD (i2c)

Now here's what am stuck with

I wire my screen up standard and I runs i2c scanner

Found on 0x27

So then I proceed u remove the screen

Hook the scl and sca line from the 2560 to the first PCA module (according to the labels )

I hook the 5v power up

I then attach the cable

On the other end I have attached the LCD again corresponding to the labels to the second PCA module and click it into the cable

The screen has power as it lights up

Bit no i2c device found

I have triple checked my soldering and connection

I have used swverel ether net cables all of wich I know should work and are straight through still nothing

So far every ardunio module I have brought I can get working but this is driving me absoloutly crazy helpppp

I will add photos of my hook up shortly

Did you solder the pins to the PCA9615 module ? Can you check the bottom side if the soldering is okay.
Can you check the PCA9615 modules with a magnifier ? Are all the jumper traces connected ? Are all the pins of the components soldered ?
Maybe someone scratched a jumper trace and Sparkfun shipped it to you.

I think that you did everything right and I can not see a problem either.

All jumpers are intact under a magnify glass the pins where soldered by me and again seem intact and perfect connections I just don't get it

Could the LCD be trying to draw too much power over the CAT6 cable?

Hi mate I don’t think so . as I have tried different sensors I have too and same no device found I also have external power if I run into then issues but literally power but no i2c communication

Contact Sparkfun and give them a link to this topic.
If one of them does not work, then it is hard to measure which one.
However, if you have three modules, then you can find the broken one.
