Hi all,
I'm reading
which says the pin-spacing between pin7 and pin8 on the Mega is 160 mils.
Then I'm looking with Eagle at the BRD file from:
http://arduino.cc/en/uploads/Main/arduino-mega-reference-design.zip
and it definitely seems that pin7 is at (1800,200) and pin8 is at (1650,2000) - so the distance would be 150 mils?
what gives?

The MARK function depends on your grid settings. Change your grid to 1mil and you'll see it is 160mils.

Uno reference design is 160 mils.
Mega reference design is 150 mils.

Okay... thinking back to when the 2560 was released I remember this coming up.
The board file was wrong. I don't know if it is intentional, but the "reference designs" always seem to have some minor issues in them.
