Mega2560 r3 issue on Win 7

Hi to all,
I have a problem with arduino 2560 r3 on my win 7 PC.I want to build a 3d printer based on arduino and ramp 1.4

I follow a guide for first installation setup but, my PC doesn't want working with mega.

I buy the mega2650 on Amazon and I think it is original.

I install the arduino ide (1.8.2 windows) and after I connect the mega with the usb, windows says to me " driver installation complete" I check on control panel (device) and there aren't yellow triangle so I think it works.and i set the port at 115200 bit\s (following the guide)

I come back on arduino ide and I try to upload Merlin (1.1.0-rc8) after setup board (mega 2560) CPU (atmega 2560) and port (Com 1 and Com 3) but when I try to uploadcfirmware many errors comes up:

I try to install a lot of driver, (arduino/driver,old_arduino_driver, wdfcoinstaller01011.DLL,arduino-org.ini,xb1usb.ini etc)

I try to uninstall all driver and the arduino ide (I clean the registry and the path) and reinstall driver and ide but it doesn't want to work:(

Any help?

COM 1 is not likely to be any Arduino board.

If you remove everything that is connected to the board does device manager see anything when you plug it in ?

Is it a REAL or clone board ?
If its a clone you might need drivers that are NOT included !
Google CH340 / 341 for the drivers.

Hi, Thx for helping me:
On Arduino ide and on device manager I see "com1 and com3" like name for port.

If unplug and re-plug the board ,device manager says "installation complete"

I don't know:( so I upload 2 jpg,can you judge if it is fake or original?

What is it ch340/341?

It looks to be real.

I dont think you need worry about CH340.

If device manager says everything is OK then thats a good sign.

Disconnect the board
Open the COM LPT section of device manger up
Plug in the board and it should appear there as a COM port.

If it does select that com port in the IDE and upload the BLINK example to see if it will accept a sketch.

If it does then great the board is fine.

That tells us you USB cable is probably fine, the drivers are OK, and the IDE can see your board properly too.
Well done you eliminated a few issues.

What type of USB port are you using, USB 3.0 does tend to have some issues so stick to USB 2.0 ports.

Some people have reported issues with printer firmware so you might want to have a look in that section of the forum to see if there are any good helpful hints there.

I try with front USB 3.0/3.1 and 2.0 and rear 2.0/3.0 USB but make the same issues:( tomorrow I search in forum if I can found something helpful for my problem:)

(Maybe one of this days I change the OS in win10 only for using arduino lol)

Update:
I try with another PC (win 7 64bit) and I have the same problem.
Now I used arduino ide nightly 1.8.3 in debug mode and the error is changed a little bit,but it doesn't want to work properly
I search in forum and on Google and I don't found nothing for resolve this problem

Dont try to SET the serial settings for boards or lock them in except the port number.

The IDE will try to set a serial baud rate and adopt the best one for the board.

The “proxy direct” messages you see are quite normal as it will look for board and library updates.

Including a shot taken from mine this morning as it wanted to update my SAMD cores.
Mine includes a few extra as I operate via a VPN…

As you can see from this text it will over ride all on its own and set things appropriately.
Then the board will "return to its default of sketch defined BAUD rate.
