Memory usage IDE 2.1.1, in Linux [Solved]

When not using the IDE, I leave it running instead of closing it.
Now I've noticed that it uses more and more memory over time (as it is reported by KDE System monitor). A couple of days ago when it was started with one sketch, it used 950MB. Now, a couple of days later, the monitor say it's 1.5GB .... what's going on?

This is my system:
Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.7
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.109.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10
Kernel Version: 6.1.49-1-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 6 × Intel® Core™ i5-8500T CPU @ 2.10GHz
Memory: 31,2 GiB of RAM

Version: 2.1.1
Date: 2023-06-30T16:00:21.359Z
CLI Version: 0.32.3

The package comes from AUR.

A couple of thoughts: It's not the official build. Also KDE System monitor could be wrong.

Perhaps it indexes and compiles all libraries?

But 1) why compile libraries before they are needed, and 2) lets say it does, why keep them in memory?

Uninstalled the AUR version and fetched official binaries.
