Hey there,
Rather new to the capabilities of Arduino products. I am looking to solve a problem at work using a simplier and cheaper solution than what is currently available. Essentially I need a Message on Hold system for the theatre I work in. We have a distributed audio paging system and would like to have several pre recorded messages play through the system. Currently on the market, products with external triggering cost upwards of 300$
Looking to solve that problem haha
Wondering if it is possible to trigger seperate MP3 or WAV files on the memory using the analog inputs on the board. Not sure which board would work best (As i mentioned fairly new to all this) or if this is something that is easily achieved.
Essentially I need to be able to have an input trigger a single and specific Audio file (And do this for multiple Audio Files)
I have been looking around the Project hub and the closest things that could prove viable don't mention anything about playing specific files with external triggers.
This seems easy enough to accomplish so please send me in the right direction!
Thank you!
I would recommend a DFPlayer mini, which is the type of thing Delta_G is suggesting. Very cheap on eBay.
