Messenger Library and Serial Communication

Hello,

I'm a complete beginner to the Arduino platform and have been experimenting with interfacing and wondered if anyone had recently experienced any problems with the Messenger Library...

I have simply been trying the examples but have been unable to get the code to execute correctly. I believe this could be because it's not recognising the messageReady function for processing or is unable to determine the carriage return for the serial input.

The code compiles and uploads without error but it does not respond to serial input. There has been little talk of the library on the forum recently and wondered if it is simply no longer compatible with the latest version.

I have the same problem... if I use the serial communications default funtions, all is ok, but I cant get the callback function on Messenger library get called (the example code didn't work). The RX light blinks, but never the Tx.

Did you solved the problem? If not, anyone has a clue on the matter?

I have an unmodified Arduino NG rev C board.

Same experience here. None of the examples for the messenger library work.

I'm using Arduino - 0015 and an Arduino Diecilila.
