Metal rack moved on wheels

Hey guys, need help! I'm trying to move a 70lb rack as per the signal strength of an access point. What I have as an idea so far is to add 6 wheels to the bottom of the rack connected to motors, which are connected to a breadboard, which gets connected to an arduino, which is connected to a MacBook. I want to be able to move the rack bidirectional (forwards and backwards) from the MacBook. Any suggestions on how to do this?

Hi, Welcome to the Forum

I'm trying to move a 70lb rack as per the signal strength of an access point.

Can you explain this a bit better, what is the full application?

If you want to use signal strength as an indicator of distance, then you will have problems due to reflections of the RF signal causing false readings.
