MFRC522 RFID card reader - issue

I am trying to read the ID of some RFID tags that confirm to the Mifare 13.6 Mhz interface.

Bought some three numbers from E-Bay MFRC522 Link

I already have a bunch of these tags used on another project with the same reader as above. But now the problem is all the three readers only read the blue colour tags that came with them and not the ones I have. Trying to use the example "DumpInfo.ino" says all three are Software Verion 2.0 and so was the old reader.

But why are not these reading my of tags ? Is there more to this reading business ?

Where did you get the 'NOT OK' tag? It might not be using the same frequency(13.56MHz).

The Not OK tag was got from a RFID store in Australia and was actually being used in another project with the same reader. Got that sample for trying out some additional functionality to the code. ( Of course even now I can read these tags as well as the blue tag with another similar reader bought from E-Bay - so for sure the Tag is not the problem I guess)

Actually this is a major issue with the modules that we source from E-Bay - you keep all your fingers crossed till you power up and they work.
