hello guys im looking for something to control these motors i already have a transmitter and receiver im ok if i can just control 2 of the motors but i would love to control 4 im building a mini tank it will have a small wireless cam and LEDs im gonna try and use this to explore gopher tunnels. also im completely new to arduino so i have no idea how to use it also could i just connect my reciever to a L298N or what

You may find that the wireless camera doesn't work well underground - might need wired one. You also may want a tether going to it anyway, so when it gets stuck, you can try to pull it out (i'd use kevlar cord for the strength part, and be sure that any force is applied to that, not the wires), instead of having to dig for it.

yea they are a little pricey but i think they would work do you know of any others?
Can try adafruit, sparkfun, maybe gravitech.us. I don't do motor stuff myself.
