Microcontroller freezes randomly when switching on a relay (snubber inside)

Yeah, it looks like the green wire's probably the "control line" and not GND, so it should remain.

Due to the relay's connection scheme and there being no visible VCC jumper pins, opto-isolation appears to be permanently crippled on the PCB unless modifications are made. Note that there are single relay modules available that have a VCC jumper to enable opto-isolation when its removed (separate DC supply required).
