Hello, this Christmas I really want to make my own Christmas lights controller. Now I understand there is a lot of tutorials of how to do it with just midis however, if possible I would like it to use midis for making the lights actually dance and then play mp3 audio. I just want to know how I should go about doing this.
i just got my lights running today. works great with a mega, an mp3 player, and a bunch of relays.
the mega triggers the mp3 player then the sketch uses an adjustable size millis() timer that corresponds to the tempo of each the song. i did have to take the time to set the light patterns to the songs in the sketch but made an easy format for myself.... i certainly out did all the neighbors! LOL.
