MIDI Controller Project w/ Genuino Micro

I'm planning to use a Genuino Micro to create a MIDI controller box with the following controllers:

4 x Potentiometers

2 x Joysticks

2 x Momentary switches

The joysticks account for two analogue sources each (X and Y axis) so the total analogue inputs to the board would be 10 which seems to be supported by the Micro (12 max.)

I'm planning to use the Micro chiefly for its small form factor.

I'm a complete Arduino noob... Can anyone see anything wrong with this approach?

Thanks for any opinions or tips.
