Hey all,
I am going to be making a MIDI project that will use an arduino to communicate with my Korg microKorg synth via MIDI OUT/IN. But I need to find MIDI jacks (female) that can be soldered to a PCB, and maybe put into a breadboard (if possible?). I need to find these jacks at a store that also carries the 4N28 optoisolator (for the MIDI IN circuit here: http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1187962258/), and some 1N4748 diodes (also listed in that thread). Also, do I need that specific brand of diode? Thanks!
I think most electronics stores would get these components for you.
Wow. They have incredible prices! Thanks for the links!
