midi send to multiple serial ports?

Hi,

Please be gentle as i am new to all this. I have an arduino mega that i am using as a midi controller using the MIDI library. I have everything working fine out of serial port1, but i would like to duplicate my midi messages to serial port 2, however i am at a loss about how to do this.

I am sure it's something very simple and i am going to kick myself afterwards but i just can't figure it out.

Help greatly appreciated!!

FYI i am using the MIDILibrary as it's the only one i can get to work at present, but if someone has a better library to use feel free to suggest it. I am only transmitting program change messages from two ports, so no receiving required, also both ports are sending the same message.
