this should be pretty easy... Arduino receives a control character and blinks the light. MAssimo has published a Mac intosh proxy program on Tinker IT that allows the Mac to tell Arduino to do things, check that out. You could also use MAX/MSP or PD (google PDUINO) to process midi diectly and talk to the Arudino.
